Wagner , July 18, 1863.” [Which included the black 54th Massachusetts regiment]. Also an intriguing center-fold depiction of the “Execution of Five Deserters In the Fifth Corps]—[deserters sitting on their coffins].
Exhibits mounting dots & slight chipping along left margin, also one 2.5" horizontal tear inward from left margin. Else VG to fine, smooth and attractive. This is the Harper’s Weekly “Battery Wagner” issue”. 54th Massachusetts buffs take note. In protective sleeve, w/white card backing.
