Front cover consists of a story and a sketch treating “The Naval Festival At Portsmouth, England—Arrival of the French Fleet—The “Solferino” Saluting The English Flag.” Interior illustrations include portrait sketches and stories of Generals Henry Slocum, Francis Barlow and Alexander Schimmelfenning. Also a story and full page, panoramic sketch of the “Grounds At Andersonville, Georgia, Where Are Buried Fourteen Thousand Union Soldiers Who Died in Andersonville Prison.”

Exhibits mounting dots and slight chipping along left margin. Else fine, w/smooth cover. Contains Civil War content. Solid collectible. In protective sleeve, w/smooth cover.
