Also a fine centerspread featuring depictions of “General Butler’s Canal At Dutch Gap”,  “Soldiers Building Roads In Front of Petersburg”, and a “View of United States Military Railroad Before Petersburg.” Also a sketch “Bomb-Proof Rifle-Pit In Front of Petersburg.”

Exhibits mounting dots and light chipping along left margin. Also faint fold-marks and two tiny dark cover dots. Else VG, w/smooth cover. This is the Harper’s Weekly “Sheridan’s Ride”/Cedar Creek issue. Solid collectible. In protective sleeve, w/white card backing.    [jp]
