Sherman on horseback—in a double-page centerfold. Also portrait and story treating Gen. Schofield, victor of the Battle of Franklin, which preceded the Union victory at Nashville.
Exhibits mounting dots along left margin and faint fold-marks. Else near fine, w/fairly smooth cover. Splendid issue. Solid collectible, especially for Sherman and/or Thomas aficionados. In protective sleeve, w/white card backing. [jp]
