Additional illustrations include scenes “Before Petersburg”: “Fortifications On the Weldon Railroad”, “Reinforcements Going to the Front”, “Mounted Infantry” [delinquent soldier riding a log in punishment]. Plus a dramatic centerfold showing the high seas “Chase Of A Blockade Runner” from the foc’sle of the chasing Union ship, w/story on page 458.
