Interior illustrations include a full page sketch of “The Cavalry Charge at Winchester, Virginia, September 19, 1864”, and the “Charge of the Federal Troops on the Rebel Works At Jonesborough [on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA.].” Plus a striking centerfold illustration of “The Great Cattle Raid At Harrison’s Landing, September 16, 1864,” by A.R.Waud.
Exhibits evidence of having been bound at some point; some chipping of the right margin. Else good condition. Excellent collectible. In protective sleeve, w/white card backing. [jp/lcd]
