VOL. 5/NO. 19 - WHOLE NO. 19 - SALEM, COLUMBIANA CO., OHIO. 4pp., 6 columns, 21 x16.25”.  Front page contains the famed address of  W.H. Furness to the Pennsylvania Anti-Slavery Society, during the Annual Fair, Dec.  19, 1859. 

The paper exhibits fold-marks and has been cut in two along its horizontal fold-line. It displays light soiling along the upper front page, and has a small piece (1.75 x 2.25”) clipped from the lower rear page. Else VG, and entirely legible. 

This scarce anti-slavery newspaper will display nicely, pieced together with proper framing.  Excellent collectible.
