Obverse/reverse blade markings: “Crown/E/6”, “Enfield 1849”. Crossguard /ferrule markings: “”C52/ RCR”, “CROWN/17”. Semi-bright, grey, double edged, spear-pointed blade, measuring 22” in length, 1.5” in width at base. Exhibits light age spotting near tip, & a minor ding or two along the edges. Bright brass hilt displays minor dings. Button release functional. Overall VG, and unique. Excellent collectible, dating from the time of Britain’s 1848-49 Sikh wars in India.
