The blued blade meas. approx. 14 7/8 inches long with an unstopped central fuller that runs approx. 11 3/4 inches. The blade surface is very clean with no nicks in the edge. Ricasso is unmarked.

Short squat guard is straight with muzzle ring at top. Contoured wood grips are held by two rivets. Iron pommel has bird head shape with working button latch. One side of the pommel is stamped with a number “5” while the opposite side bears the number “37328” with another number blotted out beneath it.

Metal scabbard is black with frog stud on the front. Scabbard is undented.

Item shows some slight wear from age and storage but is in otherwise nice condition.  [ad]
