The bayonet is semi-bright with very little mottling scattered over its surface. Locking ring operates well. Blade flat is stamped with “US.”

The leather scabbard has a buff frog and is of the 8-rivet variety. The scabbard body is of bridle leather. The frog is in very good condition but the body has some scattered surface finish loss. Most of it is in the area of the brass tip. Scabbard is sturdy.
