Overall this knife meas. approx. 22.50 inches long. The single edged pointed blade meas. approx. 16.25 inches long. Blade surface has light mottling throughout.

Faintly stamped on the left side of the blade is “J. RUSSELL & CO. / GREEN RIVER WORKS.”

Wood handle is held in place 6 rivets on each side. Wood is in good condition with light wear from age and storage.

The Green River Works began in 1834 and lasted until a name change in 1873.  [ad]
