By Ames Mfg. Co., Chicopee, Mass. Sword has a wonderful sharkskin covered grip with double strand twisted wire. All metal is bright with nearly all the original gilt finish. Black leather scabbard with only a few minor creases. Leather overall about as nice as we find them. Blade is outstanding with all of its original frosting and etchings. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer example. [ss]
