Item meas. 27.00 inches in overall length. Blade has slight curve and meas. approx. 22.00 inches long and 1.00 inch at the ricasso. Fuller runs almost the whole length of the blade beginning at the point and stopping just short of the ricasso. There is a second smaller fuller running parallel to the first. This second fuller runs along the back from the ricasso to an area approx. 4.50 inches from the point. Blade is semi-bright with heavy mottling and light pitting. The grip is made of lined horn or bone. There is a thin brass ferrule at top and bottom of the grip. The grip has a small band of brass around its mid-point with an oval plate at center. The grip exhibits a thin crack between the oval plate and the bottom ferrule. There is also a small chip in the handle just above the oval plate. There is a brass pommel cap with capstan rivet. The counterguard is an oval piece of thin brass with an upward quillon on one end and a downward quillon on the other. Both ferrules, pommel cap, counterguard and grip band is decorated with a thin line dot design.
