Sword meas. approx. 37.50 inches overall. The blade meas. approx. 32.00 in length x 1.50 inches wide. Blade is curved with a wide fuller that starts approx. 5.75 inches from the point and runs back to the ricasso where it is stopped. The blade also has a false edge that runs from the point back for about 10.50 inches. The blade is dark and shows no signs of any markings. The edge has numerous small nicks and some light pitting throughout. The hilt has a turned wood grip with ribbing. There is a brass ferrule at the top and bottom of the grip. The knucklebow and counterguard is made out of one thin sheet of brass. It starts narrow at the pommel and widens as it turns toward the counterguard. It narrows again before really expanding to create the counterguard and curls at the very end to make a quillon. The wood grip exhibits some light wear from age and use. Everything is still tight although you do get a very slight wiggle while holding the grip and trying to move the blade. There is no scabbard.
