This artifact is an original artillery fuse packet with five Federal artillery paper time fuses still contained within the original paper wrap. Packet is wrapped in faded blue paper holds five 5-second fuses and is marked "Frankford Arsenal, / 1864 / 10 SECOND FUZES." Packet still exhibits the small cotton tabs or strips protruding from the closed, glued paper packet. Very good condition.
