This is an old custom-made wood case, made to carry and display a cartridge collection. Well constructed of wood, with reinforced brass corner plates inside and out. Lid has full length piano hinge and three locks to keep it closed. Measures 35” wide x 25” high x 8” deep when closed. Carrying handle needs to be replaced.
Each half of the case features five “floating” shelves. Each of these “shelves” has 30+ cut-outs on the outer edge to hold and display a small arms cartridge. Each space has a corresponding number stamped into the wood. Cartridge specimens are held in place by wires. Shelves are free to spin which allows viewing of cartridge profiles and headstamps.
Several cartridge specimens remain in place. Of these most are centerfire, with a few pinfire, rimfire, and separate primed cartridges mixed in.
A handy and compact way to store and display a cartridge collection.
Additional shipping will apply, or arrange for in-store pickup. [jet]
