Powder horn measures approximately 2” at its widest end and was sealed with a round wooden plug which was tacked in place with eight tacks or nails. Attached into the plug’s exterior is an iron rivet with a leather loop and rawhide carrying strap. Rawhide measures approx. 30”. Original stopper is missing. Horn shows an etched eagle and snake, along with some letters. Measures 9” total length.
