U.S. MODEL 1855 MUSKET WIPER – RARE .58 CALIBER

$25.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1000-2451

A much-used appendage for Civil War muskets.  This wiper would be screwed on to the threaded end of a ramrod and used to “pull” bullets or to extract cartridge paper and cleaning patches.  This small item has the appearance of a cork screw.

This is the rarely encountered .58 caliber size.  Most seen on the market today are the .69 caliber wipers.  [jet]
