Paper cartridge in excellent condition. Possibly English. Single lead round ball and powder charge wrapped in tan cartridge paper. Early type construction with paper pasted over top of ball. End is closed with typical folds to form a “tail”. This is the type of ammunition that was used in .69 caliber smoothbore muskets.
A very nice example of an early smoothbore cartridge. [jet]
