$65.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1000-2424

An essential tool for compressing the main spring of the rifle lock to enable the lock to be disassembled for maintenance, cleaning or replacement of parts.

Just about every US rifle or carbine cartridge box of the period has a small separate implement pouch for the gun tools, oily rags, etc., necessary for the cleaning and maintenance of the soldier’s weapon. This would fit with a display of weapons or equipment. About 90 percent original deep blue remains. A medium size “US” is deeply struck in the vise block.  [sr]
