Regulation tan paper cartridge for the .54 caliber rifle. This is the less commonly encountered .54 caliber cartridge. Known as the "regulation" or "American military" style of cartridge, i.e., powder charge and bullet wrapped completely in paper, tied over the nose of the bullet, with the powder end being closed with folds which formed a tail. Near mint condition. [JET]
