Paper cartridge containing a simple .69 caliber round ball. The cartridge is pasted closed over the ball and folded close at the bottom.

Cartridge has distinctive blue tab at bottom. Believed to be of French or Mexican origin and of Mexican War period.

Complete and solid; very good condition.   This is a scarce, early musket cartridge.  [jet]
