Tin box meas. approx. 13.00 x 2.50 x 0.75 inches and was used to store 40 rounds of ammunition. The early Gatling Guns had a brass hopper cast into the action cover. Rounds would be gravity fed from this tin box into the hopper for firing.
Box is in very nice condition and is complete with lid and Xerox copies of information on the box and how it was used. [AD]
