Serial number 1332827, 45cal ACP, 5 inch round barrel, parkerized finish, fixed sights and plastic grips. Manufactured in 1943 the slide is marked “REMINGTON RAND INC. / SYRACUSE, N.Y.U.S.A”. and a “P” on top. Frame is FJA inspected and has a “M1911A1 U.S.ARMY” on the right of the slide stop pin and on the left “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” and the serial number. Frame is also marked ‘P”. Barrel is marked “HS”. Sub-inspector’s marks “S” and ‘O” on the frame near the trigger guard. Most of the original finish is visible with areas of wear on the high spots. Grips are very good. Mechanically excellent. Magazine is post WW2.
