This Colt manufactured pistol was used by the Argentinian army. It is serial number 4926 stamped on the slide and the frame. On the right side of the slide is “EJERCITO ARGENTINO. Colt Cal .45 MOD. 1927 and the left is marked with the standard M1911A1 markings. Under the trigger guard is CAISIALB VT. This stands for "Century Arms International St. Albans, VT", the firm who imported the pistol from Argentito. Barrel is marked 24034. Finish is over 70% and appears to be original blue. Bore is bright and good. Wood grips are excellent and still have sharp edges. Magazine is a replacement.
