Serial number 89757. All matching, places production in mid-1854. .31 caliber 5-shot cylinder. Octagonal barrel, length 5”. One piece walnut grips in excellent plus condition with nearly 100% original varnish. Backstrap and triggerguard are silver plated with 95-98% remaining. Cylinder with stage coach hold up scene. Again nearly 100%, and a nice plum color. Barrel has traces of original blue with balance a pleasing plum color. Top barrel flat marked, “ADDRESS SAML COLT / NEW YORK CITY”. All areas VF with fine blue finish. A really nice gun. Mechanically perfect. [ss]
