Made c. late 1850’s, early 1860’s, total quantity 23,000. Serial# 16941. .44 caliber 6-shot round cylinder. Walnut grip with three cartouches – one on left side and two on right. 6” round barrel. Barrel with approx. 50% blue with balance a nice plum color. Frame and cylinder with approx. 75% original blue. Some nice case colors on hammer and loading lever. Mechanically perfect.   [ss]
