EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF THE REMINGTON VEST POCKET PISTOL .30 CAL.

$1,295.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 172-4811

This weapon was finished blue and still retains some of its finish. Mostly on the barrel.

Pistol has a 3.50 inch long barrel that is octagonal at breech but round along the rest of its length. Bore is mostly clean with some minor dirt. Rifling is faint. Top of the breech has a worn stamping of “REMINGTON’S ILION, N.Y.” over a strong “PATD. OCT. 1, 1861, NOV. 15, 1864.”

Split type breech and hammer retain much of their original blue and work well. Hammer holds half and full-cock and really has a strong fall showing the weapon has a good mainspring.

Frame is good with four screw heads that show little if any wear.

Wide wood grips are excellent.

Serial number is on the underside of the barrel and is #30. [ad]
