SINGLE SHOT PERCUSSION PISTOL

$795.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 172-4809

This is an attractive little pistol for personal protection.  Looks to be European but there are no maker’s marks on the piece. Measures approximately 5 ½” long.  Barrel is 1 ¾” long, rifled, and well ornamented. There are two sets of three raised rings as well as applied gold leaf adorning the barrel. The square-shaped frame is well engraved on all sides with the percussion cone and hammer on top and a retractable trigger on the bottom. A nice ebony grip is fluted, with sides showing an engraved pattern, and capped with an iron pommel. Mechanically perfect and may never have been fired. There is no noticeable corrosion at the cone or hammer. Light wear to the gold leaf and two light scratches on the back of the grip. A very attractive and interesting old personal protection weapon.  [jet]
