Weapon is .22 rimfire pepperbox with four barrels. Barrel area retains much of its bluing. Barrels slides forward for loading by depressing a button on the underside of the forward section of the frame. Barrel bears serial number 14065 which matches the faint number on the bottom of the grip. Bores are good but dark.

Frame is brass and mostly clean. One side is marked “C. SHARPS PATENT & CO” but patent date is worn off. Opposite side of the frame is marked “C. SHARPS” only.

Hammer is gray. Hammer has only full-cock and the action is a bit sloppy at times.

Wood grips are in nice condition.  [AD]
