Conversion to breechloader of a M1861 Rifle-Musket. Lock with original, “PARKERS, SNOW & CO / MERIDEN, CONN” markings forward of hammer with eagle over a “US”. Dated 1864 behind hammer. Conversion done c. 1865-67. Approx. 2000 done. .58 cal rimfire cartridge. Conversion breech block unit adapted to breech of barrel. Miller patent markings VF on top of breech block. All metal smooth & bright. Walnut stock also excellent. Mechanically perfect. Bore excellent!   [ss]
