Offered is one of the finest and strongest lever-action ever manufactured by Winchester. It was produced between 1886 and 1935. This one, serial number 60614, was manufactured in 1891. It is the .38-56 W.C.F. caliber. The octagon barrel is 26 inches in length with a full magazine tube. Both the barrel and magazine tube are both blued with most of the original finish. The case hardened frame has very small traces of original finish. The walnut stock and forearm are both in very good condition but appear to have been refinished. Bore is semi-bright with good rifling.
