The face of this plate has a coat of light discoloration from ground action and a small bubble of rust behind the letter “U.” There are no major dings or dents to the face or the edge. Reverse has 100% of the lead fill but no hooks.

This plate was recovered by the late John Cullison along the Taneytown Road near the position of the Union Reserve Artillery. This area is just behind the part of the Union line where Pickett’s Charge struck on July 3^rd.
