Standard issue General Service coat sized eagle button. The face is in good condition with no dings or dents. The face is discolored from ground action and fertilizer. Reverse has a bent shank and a raised mark in a depressed channel but the maker’s mark is obscured.

A modern label with the button says it was recovered by the late John Cullison in the area of Pickett’s Charge.
