Stereo is on a yellow mount with “ARTISTIC STEREO GEMS OF GETTYSBURG SCENERY” on one edge and “PHOTOGRAPHED BY W. H. TIPTON GETTYSBURG, PA.” on the other.
The image itself was taken looking southeast down the Wheatfield Road which passes through the scene along the left edge. To the right of the road a good portion of the Wheatfield is visible including the monument marking the spot where General Zook fell while leading his brigade on July 2nd. Dominating the background is Big and Little Round Top.
Image number is too light to make out. The caption reads “ZOOK MONUMENT AND WHEATFIELD-ROUND TOPS.” The image is clear and clean though the contrast is very light. Reverse is blank.
