Fired and slightly flattened .58 minie ball with a piece of wood stuck in the cavity. Interesting relic.
This item was recovered at Gettysburg by the late John Cullison and passed by him to the Rosensteel family where it became part of their well-known collection of Gettysburg artifacts.
