This cast iron plaque most likely dates from the centennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday around 1908. The plaque includes a painted bust view of Lincoln surrounded by a wreath and two flags. It has the text of the Gettysburg Address presented in raised letters with facsimile of the 16th president’s signature –“A. Lincoln.” The plaque measures 17 inches tall by 13 inches wide with the bust protruding an additional two inches on the top. Heavy cast iron with four mounting loops to secure to a wall. With almost no chipping on the paint, this piece is in excellent condition.
