Very nice magic lantern slide showing the view from Little Round Top looking west. To the left side of the image is the monument to the 44th New York while off in the distance is Warfield Ridge and the point from which Longstreet began his assault on July 2nd. Some tourists, and possibly a veteran or two, can be seen among the rocks around the monument.
The slide is glass and dates from about the 1920’s. It meas. approx. 4.00 x 3.25 and is in good clean, clear condition.
