This guide book has no printed date but looks to be from the 1890’s. It is titled “BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG … MADE PLAIN” by Professor J. Warren Gilbert-The Battlefield Guide.
The book has yellow paper covers that show some light wear and chipping at the edges.
The 56 page interior of the book is very clean and readable with numerous woodcut illustrations. Page 9 has some words underlined in pencil and a note that reads “THE DIVISION FATHER WAS IN COMPANY K, 5TH MICH. CAVALRY.”
