Print based on the painting called Hancock at Gettysburg by Thure de Thulstrup. Shows Major General Winfield S. Hancock riding along the Union lines during the Confederate bombardment prior to Pickett's Charge. This print was reproduced by L. Prang & Co. as a chromolithograph.

Paper image and mount are mostly clean. Dark colored mount has the “Berry, Kelley & Chadwick” name as the publisher on one end, and as the seller on the opposite end. The bottom of the mount is marked “Battle of Gettysburg / Copyright 1897 by L. Prang, Boston / 341-3482”.  Contrast is good. Mount is somewhat curved.   No markings on reverse.
