MODEL 1855/61 MUSKET TOOL RECOVERED BEHIND THE ROUND TOPS, GETTYSBURG

$67.50 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 43-816

This relic was recovered by a local Gettysburg family (Gilbert) on their farm along the Taneytown Road after the battle of Gettysburg.

The item is a Model 1855/61 gun tool that is complete and in very good relic condition. There is some very light surface rust scattered here and there. This is not something that was exposed to the elements for too long. Both blades are present but frozen. A little oil should free them up.
