This fragment consists of a piece of the nose section of a Hotchkiss shell. Fragment meas. approx. 4.50 x 2.25 inches. Visible at bottom is the ridge that marks the tapered section of the shell. Top has part of fuse hole with some threads visible.
Item has light to moderate surface rust.
Recovered near Culp’s Hill.
