Fired .58 caliber U.S. Minie ball embedded in a piece of wood measuring approximately 2” by 1 ½”.

This item was recovered in the Culp’s Hill area by noted local relic hunter John Cullison, who excavated relics on the battlefield from 1935-1959; Cullison sold his collection to the famed Gettysburg Rosensteel family, who held the primary collection of Gettysburg artifacts.
