Salt and pepper shakers feature images from several locations on the Gettysburg Battlefield. One shaker shows the Pennsylvania state monument, with the words, “PENNSYLVANIA STATE MEMORIAL, GETTYSBURG, PA”. The other shaker shows General Meade’s Headquarters, the High Water Mark monument, and the Pennsylvania state monument, with the words, “SOUVENIR OF GETTYSBURG, PA”. The images of the Pennsylvania state monument show the incomplete monument, before the statues were added, dating these shakers between September of 1910 and April of 1913, when the monument was completed.
Shakers measure approx. 2 -¼” high x 1- 1/8” wide at the base.
This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible. [sh]
