Red covered booket. Title page reads: "The Battle of Gettysburg Made Plain. A Historical Guide-Book, Profusely Illustrated. Containing a Graphic Description of the Famous Three Days' Battle, Toghther With a Complete Roster of the Two Armies. Third Edition, Revised. By Professor J. Warren Gilbert, Battlefield Guide, Gettysburg, Pa." Booklet is 6" x 9.25". Dated 1898. Fifty-six pages filled with battle narratives, engravings, and several advertisements of local interest. There are some chips and small missing pieces from the cover edges. The fold/spine is weak and has split along the bottom half of the fold. All interior pages are good. Four holes have been drilled through entire book presumably to place in a ring binder. Overall in good condition.   [JET]
