Heavy cast brass pedestal and partial yoke of a stirrup. Pedestal is complete while only 3.25 inches of one side of the yoke remains.

Brass surfaces have a nice green patina.

Fairfield Pennsylvania was the site of a lot of cavalry activity during the Gettysburg campaign as well as a good sized skirmish on July 3rd, 1863.  [ad]
