Quantity Available: None

Item Code: R22097

Excavated brass bayonet scabbard tip. The brass has a nice brown patina.

This piece was recovered in the 1960s from the woods between Devil’s Den and Big Round Top.  This relic was once part of the Iva Rosensteel collection. Mrs. Rosensteel is the sister of George Rosensteel, who started the Electric Map museum in Gettysburg. Eventually, it became a part of the Rider collection in Gettysburg, which remained in the family until The Horse Soldier purchased the collection in June 2016.  [jet]
