$75.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 635-171

This oval pot metal tray is a rare find, as there are very few collectables available from the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. Tray features raised images of General Lee alongside the Confederate flag, and General Meade next to the U.S. flag. Between them is an image of two hands shaking, symbolizing the reunification of the country.  Below them are images of both General’s headquarters in Gettysburg. Tray is marked at the top, “FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG”.

Tray measures approx. 3 ¾” x 4 ½”. Reverse has a maker’s mark which reads, “MADE IN JAPAN, A.C. BOSSELMAN & CO. NEW YORK”. Tray is white metal with gold painted accents.

This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible.  [sm]
