Excavated brass fuse in perfect condition.  Beautiful green patina with no nicks or dents. Patent information stamped on top, “J. P. SCHENKL / PAT. OCT. 10, 1861”.  This relic was recovered from the Wheatfield at Gettysburg and was acquired from the Lee’s Headquarters Museum collection.  [jet]
