This is a Civil War bullet in wood. A .58 caliber Minie ball is visible in profile. Measures about 3” long x 1” thick.  This was recovered from Seminary Ridge at Gettysburg by local resident John Cullison, who excavated relics on the field from 1935-1959. Cullison sold his collection to the famed Gettysburg Rosensteel family, who held the primary collection of Gettysburg artifacts.  [jet]
